Ask three simple questions of the evidence you’re using to back up your conclusion, and you can see if your argument is supported by inductive reasoning.

1. Is the evidence sufficient?
2. Does the evidence reflect the characteristics of all the individuals involved?
3. Is the evidence relevant to your topic?
