This track explored how dual-enrollment instructors can support high school students in developing the literacy skills they need to successfully analyze college-level texts. Participants discussed growing student motivation for reading, designing readings and activities that increase student comprehension, teaching with students’ multilingual and multicultural backgrounds in mind, and how to teach discipline-specific literacy skills.
