SIM-23: 9/11 Staten Island Memorials Documentation Project

This collection contains administrative files related to the CSI Archives and Special Collections 9/11 documentation project, which was focused on preserving and documenting the immediate response to 9/11 by Staten Islanders as well as memorials like Angels Circle and the Snug Harbor Garden of Healing. Within the collection, there are photographs, newspaper clippings, and audiovisual materials. The collection has six series: Administrative Files, Memorials, Newspaper Clippings, Advertisements, Religious Responses, and School Projects.

Guide to Resources Documenting 9/11

The College of Staten Island also created a comprehensive guide to resources documenting 9/11 at the CSI Library, which includes both library and archival materials, including audiovisual and photographic collections.

Student Publications

Researchers can search the digitized student publications collection available on JSTOR. In particular, the student newspaper The Banner published a remembrance in March 2002.
