CDHA: CUNY Digital History Archive

The CUNY Digital History Archive (CDHA) is an online repository of curated archival materials from CUNY and external donors that help us understand CUNY’s history.

One digitized video available online documents a speech given by Judith Butler at the 10th Anniversary of CLAGS (formerly known as Center for Lesbian and Gay Studies, now the Center for LGBTQ Studies). The event was held in December 2001, and so soon after 9/11, it explores themes of loss and grief, and what comprises mourning and humanity.
