He'd asked a lady to write something for
him too which I haven't had time to
look at. Anyhow I'm using your text -
all every word of it.
With deaths and absences among
friends I'd thought I'd lost all of my work
but some odd pieces showed up and these
things I chose from, mostly to prepare
some legal actions and copyrights that
I lost years ago. So some of the poems
date back thirty odd years ago and
a few just the week before last. No
excuse but perhaps interesting as facts
which will entice you to have a copy of
"Double Trouble," whenever it hits the
shops.
I don’t like writers who play with words
is what I was talking 'bout before James,
seriously if I had your hand I'd throw
mine out. Your package arrived right
on time, between the mail woman
and the typist-setter, etc. Everything
perfectly magic. All the best I wish to
you my good man - a huge THANKS.
Bibs.
e you can read the scratchin'
always sloppy like this. Please have a drink.

Brosman, Deadly James,
A hello from the other
trouble over in NYC.
[drawing of a rhinoceros]
From nearer trouble, just wanted to
should at you HELLO, DEADLY! Hope
the words flow and the rhymes unglue.
Last time I talked with brosman Ted, he
said - no he only laughed - you writing
songs and me writing an African Ballet.
Maybe it is funny - BUT - is
when you got to go you got to go.
Next change you come by give me the
pitch of brotherly love.
Sincerely,
Bibbs.
P.S. Had back surgery Friday
and my ass hurts blues.](https://cuny.manifoldapp.org/system/resource/a/0/6/a06ceadc-5857-40ca-83ef-eb3873d008c5/attachment/db083818c3d5172fed10c99210b54022.jpg)
