Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace
Beyond work styles, there are other factors to consider with collaborative work. Many frameworks in psychology theory classify personalities into various groupings. A popular framework is the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). Organizational psychology or industrial psychology are the subfields that focus more on the collaborative roles or the individual-task relationship when considering personality in the workplace.

Social Psychology is also another area of interest to software development teams, such as figuring the group norms for communicating and decision making. Google researched for years what make effective teams, and found out 5 traits in their guide Understand team effectiveness:
