Pick on of the following activities and complete it on your own, then write a brief response (150-200 words). I will ask some of you to discuss your responses next week.

1. Create Your Own Readymade: Inspired by the Dada movement and the concept of readymades, find an everyday object in your surroundings and recontextualize it as a piece of art. Give your readymade a title and describe the new meaning or perspective you are presenting through this transformation.

1. Reflect on Dada Principles using the readings: In your response, choose a work of art from the readings and write about how it aligns with the principles and spirit of the Dada movement. Consider how your readymade challenges traditional notions of art and its purpose.
