The case study is designed for students in a Labor Relations course and addresses a current issue in employment discrimination. Students may be human resource management majors, health care administration majors, or business students seeking to gain knowledge of employee management issues.
The project is to develop an analysis of a current human resource employment discrimination issue. The topic addressed in the case study is employment discrimination, in general, and specifically an employer’s defense to discriminating against certain job applicants based on a business necessity.
