Full description
This illuminated page of William Blake’s poem “A Dream,” created in 1825 for Songs of Innocence and of Experience, brings together Blake’s hand-colored etching and the poem’s text in his characteristic integration of word and image. The poem, originally published in 1789, is quoted on page 25 of Memory Play.
