This video recording, hosted on Carla Harryman’s official website, documents her performance of "A Poem" for the PBS series The United States of Poetry, a five-part television series produced by Joshua Blum, founder of Washington Square Films, and poet Bob Holman, and directed by Mark Pellington. Harryman's "A Poem" aired in episode five, "The Word," on February 20, 1996. This poem also re-appears in Memory Play.
