April 1935 newsletter of the CCNY chapter of the Young Communist League. This 10-page zine illustrates the student body’s fierce defense of peace and relentless opposition to the ongoing “imperialist war.” The zine also includes strong criticism of the political ideas shared by faculty members; the denunciation of the expulsion of over 100 students; the students' unwavering rejection of the ROTC program; a review of the book Fatherland by Karl Billinguer; a comparative analysis of education under capitalism and under a Soviet regime, as well as book recommendations to learn about capitalism.
