Botao

Lorenzo Guerra Palacios "Botao" (8/10/1944–5/15/2018) is widely remembered as one of Santiago's best quinto players. He served as musical director and general director of Conga San Agustín for many years starting in 1982, and performed with Conjunto Folklórico de Oriente from roughly 1963 to 2003. His legacy is discussed in Chapter 7 and "Made in the Shade."
