This is a flyer for the first international Bachata festival held at United Palace on May 8, 1999. The festival was organized by Roberto Almonte and Melvin Lafontaine son of famed Dominican radio announcer José "Pappy" Lafontaine. The festival featured an intergenerational showcase of Bachata artists from Jose Manuel Calderon to Raquel Arias.
