“…the terror of sheet of white paper, … seems to demand lines of poetry so long dreamed of, and which will contain merely a few lines… that terror keeps you away from a sacrilege.” – Stephen Mallarmé

Yves Klein, Untitled White Monochrome, 1957

Fear of the blank page? Not in this course!

There are multiple ways to hack the writing process before you even start officially writing.

How will you begin the "pre-writing" process? Highlight one or more of the following and share something you've already done to "pre-write"

  1. Type up or collect all of the notes on your topic and artwork(s) that you have so far and organize them
  2. Search for peer-reviewed, scholarly sources, on your topic
  3. Identity 5-7 keywords from research and notetaking on your topic
  4. All of the above!

Next up is to use this (and add to it) to create an outline.
