S*AN D. HENRY-SMITH | "Flotsam Suite: a strange and precarious life, or how we chronicled the little disasters & I won’t leave the dance floor til it’s out of my system"
Dragonfly perches on their finger, she sings you’re exactly where you’re meant to be. she watched us from the window, as we prepped a feast in tribute. she joined us at the picnic, cozied up right on the blanket, played a game of truth or dare. yes, Dragonfly lives alongside all summer. she says open your heart & live on the sun. i abide, i want to live w/ ease, she says the ensemble is everywhere, rustling core earth’s dismantle — tremble at the glory of song, an exercise of diaphragm; the quiet wind rushes rushes rushes. brother, we stand in digital garble, thin thin blue new blue a body quake under collapsing music.
