As we approach the end of the course, it’s time to start refining your general work into a format that can be shared with other people.

There are two main options:

1. Primarily work on another site (such as Canva, Google Slides, Google Docs, YouTube, Soundcloud, etc.).

If you do this, you’ll submit your final project by sending me a Google Doc with the link to your project and some summaries/reflections about what you did. I’ll add this to our Manifold page.

2. Primarily work on Manifold.

If you do this, I’ll set you up with editing access on our Manifold page. You’ll be able to directly add to and stylize your page. You should do this if you want your project to look really nice, or if you’re interested in web design.

---------------------

Regardless of which option you go for, these questions should help you figure out what you want your final publication to look like.

Who is your audience? Who do you want to be able to share your project with? What kind of style and tone will resonate with that audience?

What aspects of the work you’ve done are the most important to share? What do you want people to learn?

What images, graphs, audio, video clips, and activities will be important to include? How can you make your publication more than a “wall of text?”

How are copyright, citation, and privacy concerns relevant to your project? What do you need to do to make sure you (and I) don’t get in trouble?

Please create an outline for your final publication based on your answers to the previous questions. This outline should be informal- there will be time to work on your idea more. Email me the outline, and let me know if you would like Manifold access.
