Now that you have a general idea of the project you want to work on for this course, it’s time to clarify your vision. Writing a project outline is a common way for professionals in many fields to figure out what exactly they’re going to do. These questions will help guide you through making a project outline for what you’re working on for the course.

Briefly describe your project. What is the general concept? What kind of work will it involve?

What is the point of your project? What question will you answer, what service will you provide, what problem will you solve?

Who is your audience? Who would you want to see or use what you make?

What is the minimum you could accomplish while feeling proud of yourself?

What is the most you could accomplish without burning yourself out?

What will a successful version of your project look like?

Create a new Google Doc and put your previous answers together into a single outline. Try to add some detail about the specific materials, actions, and schedules you’re going to work with. Share the document with me. I’ll give you feedback, give you a chance to edit, and publish everyone’s complete outlines later.
