About the Authors
Drs. Peter Kolozi and James E. Freeman are, respectively, faculty at Bronx Community College of the City University of New York and Essex County College. They have co-authored articles about the Poor People’s Campaign and Martin Luther King Jr. (American Studies Journal, 2018 and New Politics, 2017), Trumpism and Demagoguery in America (Logos Journal, 2016), Bernie Sanders (Counterpunch, 2016)), and New York Labor Law (Thought and Action, 2016). Additionally, Kolozi’s work includes Conservatives Against Capitalism: From the Industrial Revolution to Globalization (Columbia UP, 2017), “An Alternative Tradition in Conservative Political Economy” (American Political Thought: An Alternative View, 2017), and “The Neoconservative Critiques of and Reconciliation with Capitalism” (New Political Science, 2013). Freeman’s scholarship includes "Another Side of C. Wright Mills" (The Routledge International Handbook of C. Wright Mills Studies, 2021) and “Adorno’s Aesthetic Theory” (The Palgrave Handbook of Critical Theory, 2017). Kolozi and Freeman continue to collaborate on articles on politics, culture, economics, political theory and comparative politics.
